- Remove plastic interior and exterior stickers
- Thoroughly wash and dry exterior
- Apply premium wax
- Use compressed air to remove dust and dirt in all cracks and crevices
- Clean windows inside and out
- Clean door jambs
- Clean engine compartment
- Clean trunk compartment
- Remove dealer plastic installed on carpeting
- Dress tires
- Maintain vehicle until sold
- Thoroughly check over vehicle both inside shop and again after being pulled outside, before being delivered to a new-car manager
The Diamond Used Car Detail
- Degrease entire exterior (engine, wheel wells, rocker panels, door jambs and tires)
- Clean the wheels, removing brake dust
- Dress the engine
- Wash exterior of vehicle removing bugs & tar
- Clay bar the entire vehicle
- Pressure wash vehicle, then dry
- Shampoo all floor mats
- Deep clean all interior vinyl, plastic, leather surfaces and headliner
- Vacuum, shampoo, steam clean and deodorize carpets (front floors, rear floors and trunk)
- Clean inside windows including edges
- Dress and condition all vinyl, plastic and leather
- Polish exterior removing fine scratches and oxidation
- Dress tires and condition exterior rubber, vinyl and plastic
- Apply premium wax
- Clean exterior of windows and door jambs(trunk jamb and engine compartment)
- Install plastic protection on front driver’s side and passenger’s floors
- Place floor mats in trunk
- Thoroughly check over vehicle both inside shop and again after being pulled outside, before being delivered to a pre-owned manager
